HawkEye integrates a synthetic aperture radar, electro-optical infrared turret, and electronic intelligence receiver in a single modular pallet installable on rotary and fixed-wing platforms from King Air to C-130. The system’s on-board processing synthesises multi-sensor outputs into geo-registered fused reports transmitted to ground stations via high-bandwidth tactical datalink in near real time. Automatic target recognition algorithms pre-screen sensor data for objects of interest, reducing analyst workload on long-endurance surveillance missions. All intelligence products conform to NATO STANAG 4607 GMTI and STANAG 4545 imagery formats for direct ingestion by allied intelligence systems without translation. Proven in Afghanistan ISAF operations and Royal Air Force Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance programmes.
