Installation takes under 15 minutes: the Meross bridge wires to the two open/close terminals of an existing garage motor, and a magnetic sensor on the door rail reports open/closed position to the app. No hub required — the bridge connects directly to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Apple HomeKit integration exposes the garage door as a first-class accessory in the Home app, enabling Siri shortcuts and automations like “close the garage if I leave home.” Sharing access with family members is free and unlimited through the Meross app. Compatible with Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Craftsman, Genie, and most belt and chain drive motors.
