StarFire 7000 receives signals from GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou simultaneously, achieving 2.5 cm pass-to-pass accuracy in SF3 mode without a local RTK base station and less than 1 cm with a local RTK correction source. Its 10 Hz position update rate supports high-speed planting and spraying operations with consistent row spacing. Machine data — planting populations, yield maps, fuel consumption, and field coverage — syncs automatically to the John Deere Operations Center via the integrated JDLink telematics system. Agronomists and farm managers can monitor multi-machine fleets in real time, generating prescription maps for variable-rate seeding and fertiliser application. API connections to Climate FieldView, Trimble Ag, and CNH’s AFS platform enable multi-brand operation.
