August Wi-Fi Smart Lock Pro installs in about 10 minutes by replacing the interior thumb-turn of most single-cylinder deadbolts, preserving your existing exterior hardware and keys. DoorSense technology uses a magnetic sensor to confirm whether the door is physically closed before locking, preventing lock-and-leave errors. Auto-Lock and Auto-Unlock routines trigger based on your phone’s geofence, so the door unlocks as you approach and secures itself after you enter. Activity logs record every entry with timestamps, and access can be granted remotely via the August app. Works with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit.
