Multiprotocol auto-detection means a single TBEN-S2-8DXP can serve Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider PLC environments from the same stock code, dramatically simplifying spare parts inventory. IP67 and IP69K rating allows direct panel mounting on the machine without a separate IP-rated enclosure, reducing wiring distance and cabinet size. Each channel is individually configurable as input or output in the GSDML/EDS device description, providing maximum layout flexibility. Integrated current-source diagnostics detect wire breaks and short circuits per channel without a separate tester. Removable push-in terminal technology allows field wiring in under 60 seconds per channel.
